Role Description
This full-time, on-site Sales & Marketing Associate role is based in Dodoma/Mwanza. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, implementing marketing initiatives, and supporting the growth of the organization. Daily tasks include customer engagement, promoting our mission, managing sales processes, and contributing to effective marketing campaigns. This position provides the opportunity to play a key role in advancing Nane Nane’s goal of sustainable, impactful development in the blue food sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
Increase daily and monthly sales volumes
Identify and onboard new retail and wholesale customers
Expand sales into new territories and markets
Maintain strong customer relationships and follow up on orders
Support customer retention and repeat sales growth
Marketing & Communication
Promote Nane Nane products through social media platforms
Help grow the company’s online presence and customer engagement
Represent the company during meetings, activations, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagements
Collect customer feedback and market insights
Operations & Reporting
Record daily sales and prepare sales reports
Manage inventory tracking and stock movement
Support branch cashflow accountability and reporting
Coordinate deliveries using company motorcycle and cargo bajaji
Ensure proper communication between customers, drivers, and management
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable using a laptop and Microsoft Office tools (especially Word and Excel)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience in sales, distribution, retail, FMCG, dagaa, fish, or food businesses is an added advantage
Familiarity with social media marketing is highly preferred
Honest, organized, and results-oriented personality
Location Requirement
Applicants for the Dodoma position must currently live in Dodoma and understand the Dodoma market
Applicants for the Mwanza position must currently live in Mwanza and understand the Mwanza market
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: TZS 200,000 – 300,000 per month depending on experience and capability
