Job Description Background The Kigoma Joint Programme Phase Two (KJP II) is a multi-agency, area-based initiative implemented by 17 UN agencies in partnership with local authorities in Kigoma Region, Tanzania. The programme aims to strengthen development outcomes and human security for refugees and host communities, building on results achieved under Phase One (2017–2022). Phase Two (2023–2027) adopts an integrated humanitarian–development–peace nexus approach, supporting peaceful coexistence and longer-term stability by aligning refugee and migrant responses with local development planning. KJP II is implemented with the generous support of development partners, including the Governments of Norway and Ireland, among others. Governance and coordination are anchored in strong Government–UN leadership.
