Nitidæ is a French non-governmental organization that designs and implements projects combining environmental preservation with local economic development. The association’s budget reached 8.4 million Euros in 2024 and continues to grow. In Tanzania, activities begin in 2026 under the EU-funded SATAF programme, focusing on the coffee and cashew sectors.

Position Details
• Job Title: Finance & Administration Manager (FAM)
• Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• Reporting to: Country Representative (hierarchical), plus the Financial Controller and CFO in France
• Contract Type: 1-year fixed-term contract (renewable) with a probation period
• Start Date: Mid-March to early April 2026

Key Responsibilities
• Financial & Accounting: Oversee accounting, bank transactions, reconciliations, and the correct allocation of expenses.
• HR & Payroll: Implement HR policies, update payroll and leave tracking, and ensure the payment of salaries, taxes, and social security.
• Budgetary Management: Monitor budget consumption, provide alerts to Project Managers, and participate in budget drafting for new projects.
• Compliance & Logistics: Ensure all administrative and logistics management follows internal, donor, and national legal rules.
• Procurement: Manage procedures for goods and services acquisition, including quotes, purchase orders, and tenders.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience & Education
• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial management, or financial control.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years in administrative and accounting management.
• NGO Experience: At least 2 years in an NGO or as a Finance/Admin Manager.

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer tools.
• In-depth knowledge of national Tanzanian legislation.
• Experience with donor requirements (EU, AFD, GIZ) is highly appreciated.
• Proficiency in SAGA software is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational rigor.
• Team spirit, autonomy, and the ability to be proactive.
