The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is a government institution responsible for administering all national examinations in Tanzania. The council was established by the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973. NECTA conducts various examinations, including the Form Six Examination, which is the final examination for advanced-level secondary school students in Tanzania.

The Tanzania Examinations Council (Necta) has announced the results of the Form Six examination held from May 5 to 26, 2025.

The results were announced today, Monday, July 7, 2025 in Zanzibar by the Executive Secretary of Necta, Professor Said Mohamed.

The Executive Secretary of the Tanzania Examination Council (Necta), Dr. Said Mohamed has said that the overall performance this year has increased by 0.26 percent compared to the previous year.

In addition, he said the results for all subjects, his success rate is more than 90 percent

How to check Matokeo ya Form Six 2025 online

Now students of Tanzania can check their Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) Results 2025 online. Check below step by step guide to get the NECTA ACSEE results

Here are the general steps to check Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) Online on the NECTA website:

Step 1 : visit www.necta.go.tz
Step 2 : Click on “Results” from the Main menu.
Step 3 : The “Results” window will show all results available.
Step 6: Select “Exam Type” as ACSEE.
Step 5: Select your “Year” as 2025
Step 6: Students can now check their ACSEE result.
Students can save and take print of their result for future reference.

How to Check form Six Results Via SMS

Students can check their results by sending an SMS to a designated number. This method incurs a charge of Tshs 100 per SMS. To check results via SMS, follow these steps:

  • Dial 15200# on your mobile phone.
  • Select option 8 for “Elimu” (Education).
  • Choose option 2 for “NECTA.”
  • Enter your Examination Number.
  • Enter the Exam Year.
  • Send the message.
