The Aga Khan Health Services Tanzania agency of Aga Khan Development Network commited to provide quality care to its patient and promoting the Medial Education we are seeking for the enthusiastic and qualified experienced person for the position above

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide high standard patient care in all patient within infectious disease under the department of medicine
- To provide infectious disease consultation to other division within the department and other department within the organization during the regular working and the on- calls hours
- To participate on the on-call coverage of infection disease in accordance with the rules and regulations of the department of medicine

- To actively participate on the quality improvement program of the medicine
- To provide sloes supervision of the clinical performance of the PGME resident
- To provide in division department and organizational committee as appointed by the chair, department of medicine
- To participate on scientific, research, contribute into the department of medicine educational activities and graduate training programs
- To perform other relevant duties and charges as directed by the infectious disease division head and the chair of the department medicine
- To comply with all the professional and ethical standards and expressed adherence to the medical staff bylaw members of the health care team
- To provide academic teaching and clinical teaching to medicine students

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEGDE AND EXPERIENCE- Graduation from a medical school recognized by the TCU

- Successful completion of a structured accredited residency training/subspecialty
- Fellowship program in infectious disease acceptance to the TCU
- Certifications by the internal medicine and infectious disease BOARD
- Total experience training and post-training should be equal to or more than 7 years
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a tertiary care center in infectious diseases after certification
- Productivity in medical research highly desirable
- Publication in peer reviewed journals are highly desirable
