NAFASI YA KAZI REGIONAL MANAGER – VECTOR WORKS
 
Seeking for the candidates for 4 position of regional Manager for vector works Tanzania a USAID president Malaria initiative – funded public health program managed by Johns Hopkins Centre for communications programs
 
The succeed candidate will be based in DAR and responsible for peoviding support and management oversight for the effective implementations and quality assurance of malaria prevention and control programs in the regional of Pwani and Morogoro
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE
PLANNING WITH REGARD TO HEALTH BASED ITN DISTRIBUTION
- Assist in the preparation of annual work plans for the vector works projects and also for subcontracted organization
- Initiate and assist with the planning process with the regional and district level authorities for the  ANC/EPI activities
- Liaise with the regional and district  authorities to plan advocacy and mobilization activities
 
ORGANIZING
- Advocate for the buy – in the health of facility based ITN distribution activities by regional district authorities
- Liaise with the authorities of the government structure at regional and district level to ensure  mutual  collaborations  between these  structure and the  district  levels to ensure  mutual  collaboration  between these structure  and the vector works product
- Represent the vector works  project in all regional health technical  meetings and provide feedback  of meeting proceed to national  level
- Maintain database of all field implementations partners and their contacts and locations
- Ensure security  and efficient use of all office equipment such as  vehicles and any other project assets
 
MONITORNG AND EVALUATION
- Coordinate all vectors works project M & E related activities in the regional ensure accuracy  of data collected from the field and appropriate in punt of data into designated  system for effective program  implementation  and monitoring
- Present qualitative  and quantities monitoring 
- Utilize qualitative and and data  research
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
- Degree in social  science related studies development studies or  other related fields required
- Strong project management experience , person  management and financial/budget analysis
- At least 4 years working in management program
- Analytical and ability to become a though  leader in the field and track record of building strong 
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills
- Ability to develop well writing cohesive and analyses report
- Ability to generate innovate solution in works  situation
- Proficiency with  MS World, Power Point, and other standard software
- Fluency In English and Kiswahili is required
- Willingness to be based in one of the above regional  and to travel  extensively and to remote rural locations
 
REFERENCES REQUIRED
Experienced in program planning and management and a track record of building strong and stake holder relationship
