ADVISOR FOR STRENGTHENING DOMESTIC REVENUE MOBILIZATIONS – GIZ

GIZ is looking for an advisor for strengthening domestic revenue mobilizations in the goof financial governance programmer in Tanzania

DUTY STATIONS :BASED IN DODOMA
TERMS OF CONTRACT  : FIXED

RESPONSIBILITIES
The advisor is required to

  • Work at the national level as an interlocutor and advisor to high level representatives of Tanzania fiscal and regional administration’s authorities and adapting the legal frame work for domestic revenue mobilizations
  • Report directly to the GFG Senior advisor and head of component 3 who reports to the overall head of FGG  
  • Extend cooperation’s between local government authorities and the TRA
  • Close work and follow up on instructions from the GFG senior  and head of component 3


TASKS
Under supervision and coordination’s authority of the senior advisor and head of component 3 of GFG the advisor

  • Contribute achieving the objective of GFG in the field  of domestic revenue mobilizations
  • Provides professional expertise to further institutions development of PO-RALG  to the implements from AMBERO at LGA level
  • Facilitate innovation, knowledge management and capacity building of PO-RALG in relation to domestic revenue functional
  • Follows upon national development goals and strategies to prepare the ground for GFG to advice partners and stakeholders on important changes in the field of domestic revenue mobilizations
  • Evaluate AMBERO implementations specific activities
  • Draft need based tors for consolations to implement specific activities


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree in relevant discipline such as public administrations, law economics, finance, business administrations
  • 10 years of relevant experience in a local/regional administrations preferably at the PO-RALG out of which is 3 years at a senior manager or senior professional
  • In depth knowledge of the administrative  structure and procedure on a local and regional level
  • Previous experience include the direct consultancy for local/regional administrational
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications fluent English and Swahili
