HURUMA AIDS CONCERN AND CARE (HACOCA) is a registered Non- Governmental organization with its Head Quarter in Morogoro Municipal. It is a non-profit making organization incorporated under NGO
act. 24/ 2002 of Tanzania to carry out interventions towards improving the quality life and well-being of marginalized communities in Morogoro region by promoting health, nutrition, education and household income.
For efficient execution of its duties, HACOCA is looking for enthusiastic, creative, energetic individual to fill below vacant position
Job Position: MM&E Officer
Duty Station: Morogoro Municipal, Kilosa and Mvomero District councill
Agreement: Contractt
Job Objective: The M&E officer will be responsible for overall M&E and learning needs of the USAID Kizazi Kipya project and will come up with findings based on real data to show performance of the projects. The incumbent will support the organization in strengthening its M&E functions based on experiences from the projects.

Main duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate implementation and provide oversight of monitoring and evaluation activities in the supported councils, including data collection, management, and reporting,
  2. Perform data analysis and visualization to promote data use at all levels
  3. Generate and contribute to quarterly or other reports, as needed
  4. Support Cluster M&E staff to conduct routine internal data quality assessments (DQAs)
  5. Conduct regular data monitoring site visits to caseworkers; review and provide feedback on case worker’s performance
  6. Review critically reports submitted by caseworkers and perform data verification as needed
  7. Set up and maintain data entry and management systems including applications
  8. Supervise data entry by data clerks
  9. Other tasks as assigned
Qualification and Experience
Education Background:
  1. Diploma in in public health, sociology, demography, statistics, or other social science area; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  2. Academic qualification in monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage.
Working Experience:
  1. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in Monitoring, Evaluation and reporting,
  2. Proficient with MS Excel
  3. Work experience supporting technical or programmatic activities in orphans and vulnerable children
  4. Experience with DHIS2 preferred other software a plus
  5. Experience with mobile data collection
  6. Report writing and publication skills
  7. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
  8. Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, partner agencies and community members.
  9. Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% time
