NAFASI ZA KAZI THE ROADS FUND BOARD

The Roads Funds is Government Institutions under the Ministry of Works
Transport and Communications established by the roads fuel Act, CAP 220, OF 2006. The board invites applications for the suitably qualified Tanzania to fill the following vacancies


PRINCIPLE INTERNAL AUDITOR
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To prepare and implement audit plan for the roads fund board
  • To evaluate internal controls to ensure that accounting system provided adequate timely and accurate information’s protections against loss through negligence
  • To review audit reports from the office of controller and auditor generally
  • To asses compliance of the board rules and regulations and information’s the management and board accordingly
  • To conduct the special audit and examinations
  • To participate in preparations of annual reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Holder masters degree in Accounting with certified public accounts or related field from recognized institutions. S’HE must have and experience of not less than 12 years in related field 2 years in managerial position

SENIOR ECONOMIST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To advertise and analyze new source of road and fuel tools and advise the board accordingly
  • To regularly view regulations for collections of road and fuel tools
  • To complete analyze and interpreted relevant economic and final development data as well as forecasting trends
  • To prepare present technical and non-technical reports on economic trends and forecasting to inform the board
  • To facilitate preparations of strategy and business plans and
  • To perform any other duties
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Holder of masters degree in economics from recognized institutions with at least 6 years of working experience
  • Research an analytical skills include use of software programs such as spreadsheet statistical analysis and package
  • Report writing skills
  • Communications skills
RECORD MANAGEMENT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To keep maintain and update file index
• To keep file records and control file movement
• Ensure safe keeping of files and classifying documents
• Receive incoming mail and outgoing mail and sort them
• Deal with records and circulars from the government institutions
• To keep document mails in files sand
• To carry out any other related duties as may be assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
• Holder a diploma in Records management from the recognized institutions
• Working experience of not less than 3 years in related field

  • Should be able to work diligently after office hours promote work and comprehend communicate effectively priories
