The company is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti an international producer headquarters in South Africa with operations in more than ten counties in for continent. The mine is a situated in the Lake Victoria Gold fields of Tanzania only about 85 KM from Mwanza City and 20 KM’s south East of the nearest point. WORKS FOR:                      MINE SURVEYOR
QUALIFICATIONS:            BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN GEOMATICS OR LAND SURVEYING
EXPERIENCE:                      2 years experience in underground mining geology
MAIN KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
·         Safety is our first be- pro active in all aspects of operational safety and encourage your  -co workers to adopt pro-active approach to safety
·         Establishment and monitoring of surface and underground survey control points within the mining area
·         Perform timely development and producing marks –up
·         Perform regular as- build surveyors of mined out areas and update mine face position/ model according
·         Maintaining survey and mining database by accurate recording and processing of survey coordinate information’s
·         Liaison with mine engineering geological and productions /contractor personnel on gennneral surveys’ requirements
·         Produce monthly and weekly advanced and volume calculations
·         Ensure adequate stock or requirements’ PPE AND FIELD CONSUMABLE FOR UNDERGROUND MINE SURVEYORS ACTIVITIES
·         Correctly use and maintain of surveyors tool and equipment provided
·         Actively participate in HSE meetings , toolbox and all training provided
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
·         be physical and mentally fit
·         computer literacy
·         Good communications skills
·         Verbal written English
·         Be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
·         Valid driving license and ability to pass site driving test
