POSITION::: PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT NATIONAL PROGRAMME OFFICER
The Embassy of Sweden in Dar es Salaam represents
the Swedish government in the United Republic of Tanzania and EAC. The aim of the Swedish development cooperation with Tanzania is to contribute to conditions for suitable growth in the country and private people living in the poverty with better opportunities to support themselves by obtaining work and starting and running productive business. The main target groups are women and children’s and young people. Sweden’s development cooperation’s activities in Tanzania will contribute to successively reducing Tanzania dependence on aid
We would like to invite the applications for the candidates and qualified for the position above the job holder will report to the head of Swedish Development Cooperative Division in Tanzania
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessment of potential partners. Programmer of projects
- follow up of on- going agreement with partners including dialogue and negotiations
- finalizing and evaluating programmer and managements
- contribute to the planning follow-up and reporting of the Embassy
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- master degree in business administrations, development studies or related field
- excellent command written and spoken English and Kiswahili
- work experience in project funding and management
- good knowledge and understanding on Tanzania private sector and agribusiness stakeholders
- strong analytical and conceptual ability
- strong ability to write concise and Cleary structure reports and articles
