JOB VACANCY: POULTRY FARM / SHED SUPERVISOR (VETERINARY FOCUS)


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Farm/Shed Supervisor to join our growing poultry operation in Mkuranga, Pwani. This role is ideal for a passionate professional with strong expertise in both broiler and layer management, as well as poultry health and welfare.


Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations of broiler and layer units

* Monitor bird health, identify diseases, and implement preventive measures

* Supervise farm workers and ensure adherence to farm procedures

* Maintain proper feeding, vaccination, and biosecurity programs

* Ensure optimal productivity and animal welfare standards

* Keep accurate farm records and prepare regular reports


Qualifications & Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field

* Minimum of 5 years proven experience in poultry farming (broilers & layers)

* Strong knowledge of poultry diseases, vaccination schedules, and farm management

* Leadership and team management skills

* Ability to work independently and handle farm operations efficiently
