This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and revenue within the Financial Institutions (Banks), Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs), and Investor Services segments through both strategic product management and direct sales activities, including exploring new economic frontiers and corridors. The role involves fostering strong client relationships, identifying market opportunities, shaping product offerings for these segments, and ensuring the delivery of tailored transaction banking solutions within the Tanzanian market. As the Head of FI & Investor Services, you will also be responsible for achieving set financial targets, managing risk, and contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the Transaction Banking business.
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
Preferred Qualification: A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience Required
Investor Services
8+ years
Significant experience in transaction banking, corporate banking, or
financial services, with a specific focus on financial institutions,
non-banking financial institutions, or investor services
10+ years
Knowledge of risk management within operational environments to identify
and assess risks across all risk classes, develop and implement
solutions to mitigate risks
5+ years
Knowledge of the TPS Investor Services value chain, regulatory requirements and systems to monitor and manage risks.
5+ years
Experience working in a similar role within the Tanzanian banking market
that combines sales and product responsibilities, working with clients
or projects that span across different African countries or within
specific economic corridors.
