Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Cubex Operator to join and grow our team. This role is responsible The purpose of this role is will help carry out the assigned drilling tasks within the guidelines of Company Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practice as well as other assigned tasks within the range of competencies. Assist drill production holes accurately according to design patterns required for safe and efficient underground production to proceed

Report to: Mining Supervisor
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities
Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings
Comply with Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other policies, procedures and guidelines;
Attend the service required for drilling
Assist in Support for Rehabilitation
Assist in charging of Blast Holes
Assist in identifying improved drilling methods
Assist in observing drilling time per meter
Discuss how to improve drilling and cycle efficiency
Assist in monitoring, controlling drilling, and cycle efficiency
Assist in observing drilling practice to optimize drilling consumables
Presentation of best practices to other people
Complete the entire task at the required rate and on time. To provide technical, practical, and field support in various working areas of the mine, focusing on increasing work effectiveness and productivity while lowering cost through improved operational practices
Qualification Requirements
Ordinary secondary education
Valid Driving License
Experience And Skills Requirements
Previous experience working as Assistant Driller
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Underground Mining Industry.
Jumbo or long-hole machine knowledge would be advantageous.
Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal

About The Team
Bulyanhulu is situated in north-west Tanzania, in the Kahama district of the Shinyanga region, approximately 55 kilometres south of Lake Victoria and 150 kilometres southwest of the city of Mwanza.
Bulyanhulu is a narrow-vein gold mine containing gold, silver and copper mineralisation in sulphides. The mineralisation of Bulyanhulu is associated with a number of steeply-dipping veins. Bulyanhulu commenced commercial production in 2001.
