๐ŸŒ Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is seeking an experienced National Researcher from Tanzania to support feasibility studies, baselines, evaluations, and evidence-generation work.


We are looking for a Tanzania-based national professional with strong contextual understanding, research expertise, and a commitment to gender equality, social justice, and ethical, community-led research.


๐Ÿ’ผ ๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€:

▪️ Lead and support feasibility studies, baseline/midline/endline assessments, and evaluations

▪️ Coordinate and conduct field-based and remote data collection (surveys, FGDs, KIIs)

▪️ Support the development, digitisation, and pre-testing of research tools (quantitative & qualitative)

▪️ Conduct literature reviews, contextual and political economy analysis, and evidence mapping

▪️ Support data translation and transcription (qualitative and quantitative data)

▪️ Contribute to high-quality technical reports, learning briefs, and documentation

▪️ Liaise with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to ensure ethical and quality research practice


๐Ÿ“Œ ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ช๐—ฒ’๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ:

▪️ Strong academic background in social sciences, development studies, gender studies, economics, or a related field

▪️ Proven experience conducting national-level research in Tanzania

▪️ Proficiency in Excel and experience with SPSS, STATA, Kobo Toolbox

▪️ Excellent writing, analytical, and documentation skills

▪️ Strong commitment to ethical research, safeguarding, and inclusive engagement
