Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for the digital bank. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Solution Architect will be responsible for defining the architectural vision, creating solution blueprints, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives.

This role requires a deep understanding of banking processes, digital technologies, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to define solution requirements and business objectives.
Develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with the bank’s strategic goals and technology standards.
Design and document solution blueprints, including system integrations, data models, application interfaces, and security considerations.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, frameworks, and tools that align with the bank’s digital strategy and promote scalability, reliability, and security.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses to identify potential challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and internal teams to drive the successful implementation of solutions.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide strategic recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
Mentor and coach junior architects and development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Compiling the dolution architecture design documents as per the Bank’s template for all new and existing solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Work Experience

Working experience of 3-5 years in related fields. preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of digital banking processes, core banking systems, payment gateways, and digital channels (web, mobile, API).
Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, and experience with architectural modeling tools.
Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions using cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, RESTful APIs)

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong leadership capabilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment.
Professional certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF certification, are highly desirable.
