JOB TITLE: Manager – Cost and Management Accountants

Job Description:
Main purpose of the position
Ensure accuracy of Management report and Cost Reporting on time for the management decision.
Reporting into this position (designation and level)
Routine/Direct: Finance Manager
Functional/Indirect: Segment Finance head / General Managers
Key responsibilities:
a) preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
b) undertaking financial administration and internal audits
c) liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
d) developing and managing financial systems/policies
e) negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
f) controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
g) creating business strategies to generate shareholder value.
h) ensure correct transaction and management accounting for division and profit centres
i) provide variable product costing and analysis
j) Segment / product wise Margin Analysis and Reporting
k) Product costing
l) ensure accuracy of costs related to division and allocation
m) Support in statutory Audit and TRA Audit (Management Accounting part)
n) Any other work that may be assigned by the management
Budgetary responsibility:
a) prepare annual budget with co-ordination of respective department head and as per group guidelines
b) Analysis of monthly variance and reports
c) Monitor monthly budgets and provide advises for any variances
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
Minimum academic qualification:
(ii) Min: CPA (TZ) Or Equivalent
(iii) Additional qualification as an added advantage
(iv) Professional registration
Experience required:
i. General work experience (years): Min: 10 years
ii. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 5 years
iii. Industry: Manufacturing
