Position: Clinical Officer, Zanzibar, Iringa, Kimara & Mbeya

Assist Centre Manager in developing, coordinating and facilitating implementation of center plan, strategies, and programme according to annual plan and budget and strategic plan. Supervise provision of quality reproductive health and family planning services, and all other services pertaining to health care.

Key Responsibilities:

    Reinforce maintaining of the health policies, protocols and standards of the center as per Ministry of Health, Marie Stopes International and professional ethics standards;
    Manage and provide quality reproductive health and general health care services to clients at the center;
    Conduct prescriptions and make a follow up to ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out;
    Conduct minor procedures as appropriate;
    Assist Doctors during major procedures when required;
    Maintain proper records and make sure that appropriate reports pertaining to STI, HIV, MTUHA, Bills etc. are timely and accurately done;
    Participate in development and implementing appropriate strategies for sound center performance
    Assist the Centre Manager in monitoring and evaluating the center performance where needed;
    Maintaining safe custody of DDA drugs and registers;
    Undertake any other assignments given from time to time by immediate supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

    Diploma in Medicine from a recognized institution;
    Registered with Medical Council of Tanganyika with valid license;
    2- year working experience in clinical work;

Position: Assistant Nurse Officer, Mbeya

Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients at Clinic in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures to include collecting and analyzing patient data.

Key Responsibilities:

    To promote effective and efficient delivery of quality Reproductive Health counseling and general health care services at the Centre;
    Provide counseling and care to VCT and FP clients;
    Provide in reach and outreach services to clients;
    Provide care to OPD clients and undertake inpatient client visits including labour wards to establish progress of their condition;
    Provide the Doctor with timely update on clients (inpatient if applicable) progress and advise on nursing care as appropriate;
    Keep records and provide accurate and timely reports as required;
    Reinforce maintaining of the health protocols (e.g. theatre protocols, infection prevention protocols etc.) and standards of the Centre as per MOH, MSI and professional ethics standards;
    Initiate and maintain quality of care, confidentiality, comfort, safety etc.;
    Undertake any other assignments given from time to time by Supervisor.

Minimum Requirement:

    Diploma in Nursing;
    Registered with TNMC, and having a valid license;
    2- year’s working experience in a similar role;
    Good knowledge and application of all family planning methods;
    Knowledge of and appropriate application of the nursing process;
    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
    Ability to teach patients and families in accordance with the nursing plan of care;
    Ability to record activities and document assessments;
    Ability to use electronic systems & equipment mainly computer;

Position: Laboratory Assistant, Iringa, Mbeya & Zanzibar

Promote delivery of quality Reproductive Health and general health services by performing routine tests and produce accurate and reliable laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:

    Keep and maintain equipment security, and ensure are in good working condition;
    Keep the laboratory clean and participate in maintaining cleanliness of the centre;
    Responsible for records keeping and production of laboratory related reports;
    Undertake any other assignments given from time to time for smooth running of the centre Program.

Minimum Requirements:

    Diploma or Laboratory Technician Certificate;
    Registered with Laboratory Council/ Board;
    3- year’s working experience in a similar role;

Position: Centre Manager, Mwanza

Job Purpose:
The Centre Manager oversees the daily running of the clinic. S/he develops, coordinates and facilitates the implementation of Centre plan, strategies and program according to annual strategic plan and budget. S/he supervises the provision of quality Health Services at the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain highly quality clinical standards and standard operating procedures, and customer centred service provision;
    Develop Clinic in line with the values of MSI Partnership and the goals of maximizing access of clients to affordable and high-quality family planning services;
    Lead high quality service delivery of family planning, reproductive and general health services;
    Manage the electronic patient information system and checks the quality of records entered by the team;
    Submit reports in a timely manner both electronic and hard copies to Clinics Lead;
    Develop sustainable business for the centre within the approved annual budget, by striving for income from services to meet or exceed budgeted targets;
    Manage effective adequate stock but not excessive to the Center and timely routine reconciliation, and submit stock reports and orders;
    Manage team members performance including setting targets and conduct quarterly perform reviews to motivate staff and build their capacities;
    Create a working culture according to Marie Stopes Tanzania core values and behaviors in order to maximize excellency and productivity;
    Minimize rejection rate among corporate clients and maximize high standards of customer care in collaboration with Customer Care Manager;
    Management CBMs, monitor and evaluate CBM and CACs activities in line with overall marketing goals of MST and application of ‘value for money’ principle;
    Participate in development of strategic initiatives/plans;
    Undertake any other assignments given from time to time by immediate supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

    University Degree preferably in Health Science, Social Sciences, or Business Management;
    Fluent English both oral and written;
    Proven hand- on 3 years work experience in the health Industry;
    Proven track record of people management and leadership skills in a managerial position.
