The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) is looking for a Driver to take on the role of providing professional driving, transportation and other logistical support services to the overall AKF Tanzania Dar es Salaam operations as shall be required from time to time.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that the vehicle is properly and reliably serviced and maintained as per AKF standards
Liaise with the supervisor as to any major repairs needed and get relevant clearance for major repair work to be undertaken.
Fully understand and athere to all AKF security practices, procedures and protocols
Ensure that official log book, service and maintenance books are up to date
Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring report including records of vehicle operations, maintanance, expences, mileage at the end of each month.
Undertake office logistics activities
Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by supervisor Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
At least a minimum of 3 years’experience of driving with clean record. INGO experience will be an added advantage
Holder of a valid Class ‘C’ and/or ‘D’ driving licence
A certificate of Basic Driving Course from VETA or other school recognized by government institution
Mechanic training certificate from VETA or other re will bean added advantage
