ACADEMIC POSITIONS

SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (SEST)

Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BSc. Environmental Science and Management or BSc. Environmental Engineer­ing with GPA of at least 3.8 and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.


Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate must have BSc. in Chemistry and Biology OR BSc. in Biology and Chemisty with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.
SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (SACEM)

DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING ECONOMICS

Tutorial Assistant – (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate must have BSc. in Building Economics/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.

SCHOOL OF EARTH SCIENCES, REAL ESTATE, BUSINESS AND INFORMATICS (SERBI)

DEPARTMENT OF GEOSPATIAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY (DGST)

Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate must have BSc. in Geomatics/Geoinformatics/GIS and Remote Sensing/Land Surveying with a GPA of 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.


DEPARTMENT OF LAND MANAGEMENT AND VALUATION (DLMV)

Tutorial Assistant (2 Positions)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BSc. in Land Management and Valuation with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.

DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES (DBS)

Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate must Bachelor of Accounting/Finance and with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a min­imum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.


SCHOOL OF SPATIAL PLANNING AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (SSPSS)

DEPARTMENT URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

Tutorial Assistant (I Position)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BSc. in Transport Engineering/Highway Engineering/Civil Engineering (Trans­port) with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equiv­alent.

Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BSc. Urban Development Planning/ Regional Development Planning with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.


Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BSc. in Urban in Land surveying/ Geomatics with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.

DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (ESS)

Tutorial Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

The candidate must have BA. Sociology/Community Development Studies with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.


INSTITUTE OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS STUDIES (IHSS)

Tutorial/Research Assistant (1 Position)

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate must have BA. Development Studies from a recognized University with a GPA of at least 3.8 or above and a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent.

Remuneration: According to Government Salary Scales.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS

All academic awards should be from recognized Universities and Institutions.
Candidates pursuing Masters Studies in relevant field will have an added advantage.
All applicants should indicate in their application letter post, the name of the School and Department to which they are applying.
Applicants who are on Masters Studies in relevant field will have an added advantage
All applicants with certificates from foreign Universities should have the certificates verified by the Tan­zania Commission for Universities (TCU)
Applicants who are currently employed by Public Institutions should channel their applications through their respective employers.
All applicants must submit signed application letters accompanied with the following:
Copies of relevant academic and professional certificates;
Three names and complete addresses of referees;
Current CV
Age limit: Not above 45 years
