We are one of the only NGOs in Tanzania dedicated to addressing socio-economic rights by partnering with informal sector women traders. Working across 9 regions of the country, we
envision an informal sector free of all forms of gender-based violence, exploitation and barriers, where women are given equal opportunities to thrive!

Our Mission: To empower the informal sector in Tanzania, particularly informal sector women, to increase incomes and reduce household poverty by ensuring their access to legal and human rights education, business-related opportunities, and active engagement in policy, practice reforms and capacity building.


Vision
We envision vibrant and economically empowered women in the informal sector, where they are supported by a business marketplace that is free from all forms of exploitation and free from gender, legal and economic barriers,
allowing women traders to operate on an equal footing with men.

What we do:
1) Raise awareness of women's economic, legal and human rights
2) Address GBV within the informal sector
3) Support women's groups and associations in advocacy
4) Reduce barriers that impede growth of household incomes
5) Provide access to legal aid services
