Job Summary
The principal part of the job is to be part of the team responsible for maintaining an
efficient and accurate Accounting functions.

Duties: -

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Updates payroll records by entering all the necessary information including any changes in to the system for example bank loans/salary advance deductions.
• Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee pension contributions ,

PAYE

• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• To ensure that the employees payroll files are up to date and accurate
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests to staff
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Computer literate is a must ( Ms Word, Excell, Access
• Knowledge of accounting packages will be an added advantage
• Degree /Advance Diploma in Accountancy/IT or any related subject
• Experience in Accounting related tasks
• An eye for details and to be able to work under minimum supervision and under a lot of pressure during month end period.
