Job Summary
The principal part of the job is to be part of the team responsible for maintaining an
efficient and accurate Accounting functions.

Duties: -

Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Updates payroll records by entering all the necessary information including any changes in to the system for example bank loans/salary advance deductions.
Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee pension contributions ,

PAYE

Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
To ensure that the employees payroll files are up to date and accurate
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests to staff
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills & Experience:

Computer literate is a must ( Ms Word, Excell, Access
Knowledge of accounting packages will be an added advantage
Degree /Advance Diploma in Accountancy/IT or any related subject
Experience in Accounting related tasks
An eye for details and to be able to work under minimum supervision and under a lot of pressure during month end period.
