PROFILE: 
1. Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) is a Private University fully registered by
TCU and located in Gongo la Mboto Dar es Salaam (5kms) from Julius Nyerere International Airport. KIUT is a member of IKEA, Association of African Universities and a member of the Association of Common Wealth Universities. 

2. KIUT would like to attract additional Human Resource to its various academic and administrative departments. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at the University. Faculty of Medicine 
A. Lecturers needed in the following disciplines:

v. Biochemistry 

Applicants should be holders of; 
a. A Bachelors Degree in: MD/MBBS/MBchB 
b. MMED in any of the displines in (a) above OR a Masters degree in Anatomy, Masters in Physiology, Masters in Microbiology, Masters in Biochemistry, MMED Pathology. 
c. A PhD in the area of specialization is an added advantage. 

B. Assistant Lecturers needed in the following disciplines: 
i. Physiology ii. Anatomy 
iii. Microbiology 
iv. Pharmacology 
v. Biochemistry 

Applicants should be holders of:
a) A Bachelors Degree in any of the following: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology 
b) A Masters degree in the relevant discipline as listed in (a) above.

iii. Surgery 
iv. Obstetrics and Gynaecology

a) A Bachelors Degree in MD, MBBS/MBchB

D. Assistant Lecturers for Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).

a) A Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) 
b) Master in any of the following: Medical Laboratory Science, Masters in Biotechnology, Masters in Microbiology, Masters in Biomedical Sciences/Msc in Laboratory Medicine 

Lecturers for Medical Laboratory Science 

Applicants should be holders of: 
a) A Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, 
b) A Master's of Science and A PhD in the relevant area 

D. Faculty of Development Studies and Management

ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS 

A) Director Human Resource 

Applicants should be holders of: 
a) A Bachelors in Human Resources Management 
b) A Masters degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field 
c) At least 2 years of working experience in a reputable institution or organisation 

B. Director Estates and Works Department 

Applicants should be holders of: 
a) A Bachelors degree in Engineering in any of the following: electrical, civil, or mechanical 
b) A Masters degree in a related field will be an added advantage 
c) At least 2 years of working experience with a reputable institution or organisation 

C. Director Quality Assurance 

Applicants should be holders of: 

a) A Masters degree from a recognised institution 
b) A PhD will be added advantage 
c) Must have taught at University for at least 3 years. 
d) Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance systems of TCU, Inter-university Council for East Africa Quality Assurance framework.
