An oil and gas major currently require a Contracts Engineer for a new pipeline project which will be
based in either Paris or Houston initially, before mobilising to Tanzania for a residential assignment.
The Contracts Engineer will provide support to the Contract & Procurement (C&P) team in supporting the Pipeline Project in Contract placement/management; Be responsible and to provide support to the Contracts and Project Team in all matters relating to assigned Call for Tenders and Contracts and to contribute to delivery of the project in time, in budget and in accordance with HSE standards and to be able to operate the Pipeline system from 2020.
You will have a minimum of 10 years experience in the in Contracts positions in the oil and gas industry; have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Commercial, or Engineering ideally with a CIPS / post graduate qualification; must be fluent in English and French advantageous.
It is essential that you have previous major capital project experience within oil and gas working for the operator. Onshore pipeline / African project experience will be highly advantageous
