Job description
The client, an Industrial Trading Company in Tanzania is looking for a top notch CFO.
The Chief Financial Officer will be a key member of the Senior Management Team reporting into the CEO. His or her role will be to carry out the following tasks:
· Oversees all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
· Directs financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with the CEO, GM and all the other Heads.
· Supervises investment and raising of funds for business.
· Studies, analyzes and reports on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
· Ensures complete compliance with the financial regulations of Tanzania.
The role is open to all but preference will be given to Tanzanian candidates. The role is based in Dar Es Salaam.
· A minimum of 8, preferably 10 year’s experience in a senior role of a similar nature
· CPA designation preferred.
· Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
· Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
