We are seeking the 

OPERATING THEATRE SPECIALIST NURSE EXPERTS – 2 position 

JOB SUMMARY
The operating theatre specialist nurse will leads clinical and academic in program in operating theatres and ensure deliver of a service in an efficient manner. He will set the vision and actionable plan and ensure the full operationalizing the new specialized theater develops systems and linkages with other department for effectives coordinating of services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the operating theatre specialist nurse experts include professional clinical organizational, administrative and educational matters relevant to territory hospital setting these include
• Actively contribute to the development of clinical practice in a complex operating theatre setup and acts as resources and mentor to other member of the teams
• Promote a high standards of evidence based theatre services to patient though dissesment of nursing state law and regulatory agencies
• Prepares and justifies annual operating and capital budget based on project unit needs and departmental policies and goals

• Monitor monthly management reports and analyzes trends and take action appropriately
• Establish and operationalize evidence based theatre services in neurosurgery, joint replacement surgeries laparoscopic surgeries international procedure in gastroenterology, trauma thoracic surges
• Works cooperatively/collaborative with physicians to establish and maintain their practice clinical requirements and effectively manage the physical practice needs
• Ensure efficiency in CSSD management as well as deep sterilization of equipment and sensitive instrument
• Supervises the procurement and maintenance of equipment and suppliers staffing of employees and budgeting

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing and at least 3 years’ experience working as a senior perioperative nurse
- Experience in leadership in the development of perioperative nursing and services delivery specialist knowledge in all roles with the perioperative environment
- A high level of clinical knowledge, experience and skills in providing complex preoperative nursing care
- Demonstrated record of excellent clinical , skills and talent for teaching and interest in medical educations
- Strategic and inactive thinking skills and the ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration
