A leading oil and gas major are looking for a Procurement Specialist / Buyer to join their team in
Tanzania.
As buyer you will be responsible for providing support to C&P and the Project Team in all matters relating to assigned Procurement area and to contribute to delivery of the project in time, within budget and in accordance with HSE standards. Other responsibilities will include ensuring that the HSE clauses are well implemented, ensuring proper execution of the Purchase Process and to compile tender packages.
Qualifications needed:
  • 5 years experience as a Procurement Specialist / Buyer in Oil and Gas industry
  • Degree qualified
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and French (preferred)
  • Familiarized with oil industry equipment. Procurement and Project experience and Knowledge of the C&P process.
