Job Details
Group Finance: budgeting and forecasting, creating interim and annual financial statements, facilitating internal mergers and acquisitions, as well as dealing with analysts and investors.

Job Purpose
To undertake all functions associated with recording, reconciliation and payment of both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Performance management

Full involvement in month end processes, amortisation and accrualsPosting of journals in the systemInvestigation and recovery of any duplicate paymentsReconciliation disbursement accounts, ACB payment / collection, SAP foreign payment in daily basisMonitoring staff claims( passing entries in the system recons) and HQ petty reconditionsSound internal controls are in place within the accounts payable processMonthly balance sheet reconciliationMonitoring branches Petty cash ExpensesSupport payment team

Preferred Qualification and Experience

B.Com/ Advanced Diploma in accounting.ACCA/CPA or CIMA is an added advantage.

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise

Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a finance department. Preference will be given for those who have worked in a financial institution.Computer literacy and knowledge of personal computers and software packages MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access. Working knowledge of SAP, Bankmaster and Branchpower is an added advantage.
