Act No. 12 of 2009. DUWASA is charged with the overall responsibility of operations and management of water supply and sanitation services in Dodoma urban within the Municipality.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic, experienced and performance driven Tanzanians male and female, to fill in excellent carrier opportunities:
1.0 FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER( 1 Post)
1.1 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent qualification plus CPA (T) with relevant working experience of not less than twelve years three of which in senior position. Knowledge of Computer application skills, Risk Management and Tanzania Labor laws will be an added advantage.
2.0 LABORATORY ARTISAN II (1 POST)
2.3 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Holder of Certificate in Water Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with at least one year relevant experience in water treatment and good knowledge of ICT application skills
3.0 PUMP MECHANICS II (1 Post)
3.5 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Form IV with Trade Test Grade Ill in Pump Mechanics or equivalent qualification with at three years experience in the operation and maintenance of water pumps
4.0 DRIVER II( 3 POSTS)
4.1 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Possession of Form IV Secondary School Education and valid driving license with Class C’s and D and a trade test Ill or advanced drivers certificate grade Ill from a recognized institution like VETA/NIT, with not less than three years driving experience.
5.0 DRIVER CUM OPERATOR II (1 Post)
5.1 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Possession of Form IV Secondary School Education and Class C valid driving license and a trade test Ill or advanced drivers certificate grade Ill from a recognized institution like VETA/NIT, with not less than three years driving experience.
6.0 METER READER II ( 6 Posts)
6.7 Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Holder of Form IV with Trade Test II/I in Plumbing/ Pipe fitter or equivalent qualification with three years’ work experience in plumbing works
7.0 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE POSTS
Permanent and Pensionable.
8.0 AGE LIMIT FOR THE APPLICANTS
Applicants should not be above 45 years of age.
9.0 REMUNERATIONS
