PRINCIPAL OFFICER INSURANCE SURVEY – MAENDELEO BANK

Maendeleo Bank  PLC commenced operations in September 2013 as a regional Bank with its Headquarter at Luther house Sokoine drive Dar es Salaam it is the first bank in Tanzania to be registered  in Dar es Salaam  Stock Exchange  (DSE) from its incepting  through enterprise growth market window

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Head Finance position will be responsible for managing insurance agency   on daily basis to deliver business growth excellent customer service operational compliance staff performance and development

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
a)    T o provide leadership and compressively manage the activities of the agency firm including business generations management and grow insurance business by meeting et the targets from time to time
b)    Plan, organize and coordinate day to day running of the agency
c)    Respond to customer enquiries and handle customer claims
d)    Liaise with the regulator  and provide all necessary reports
e)    Provider reports o the state of the business to senior management
f)    Developing  and maintain good working relationship with clients primary insurance company and other players
g)    Review financial statement, sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and a goal achievement and to determine  areas needing cost reductions and program improvement
h)    Any other duties

QUALIFICATIONS

holder a bachelor degree in insurance from any recognized university possession of insurance professional certifications will be an added advantage experience in banc assurance relationship is highly encourage other qualities are 5 years experienced in the insurance  industry with extensive knowledge of sales and marketingSound knowledge  of the insurance products and services and TIRA ethical standardsGood management  ability with capacity to grow  support and develop  talent within the agencyDemonstrable business acumen and excellent communications social and presentations  skillsAbility to meet reporting expect one  of the management, principal insurer and statutory bodiesExcellent organizational, delegation, performance management administrations analytical influencing  negotiations  and time management skills
