Position- Human Resource Assistant

HR assistant is responsible for handling a variety of personnel related administrative duties. Also to act as the liaison between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. Will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.

Reporting to- Human Resource Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resource Manager.
  • Compile and Updates employee records
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, PMS etc)
  • Deals with employee requests regarding human resource issues, rules and regulations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (Absence, bonus, leave etc.)
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.

Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Proven working experience (2 years minimum) in Human Resource Management.
·         Ability to work independently and take initiative
·         Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff.
  • Strong organizational and Time management skills; excellent Verbal and written communication skills and ability to foster relationships with employees at all levels  within the organization; ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives; and strong creative problem skills are required
·         Demonstrated ability in Computer skills for Word processing , databases, Spreadsheets and presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office ; and ability to learn new Software packages
  • Age not more than 25 years.

   Job Location: Dar es Salaam
   Salary range: 400,000-500,000 TZS
