The LAPF Fund is a social security institutions
affiliated to the President Regional Administrations and local Government.  LAPF has its headquarter in Dodoma with Zone and liaison Offices in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Iringa, Mwanza, Mtwara, Rukwa, Kahama, Tanga and Kigoma.  LAPF is seeking to recruit dynamic, committed, honest, qualified individual who are highly motivate, entrepreneurial result-driven professional with proven good track record.  The available position together with their specific requirements is as follows


1.ELECTRICIAN I (1 POST)
JOB PURPOSE
Reports to the projects office. The electrical technician will be responsible for supervision of maintenance and installations of air conditions, photocopies machine, generators and other equipment in the fund offices
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position should have form IV/VI national Examinations Certificate with Test Grade II or its equivalent from recognized institutions.  The trade test should be in the electrical field
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical assistance and resolutions when electrical problems are encountered in the Fund building
  • Install and maintain the electrical control systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and repair electrical instruments
  • Assure availability of equipment material and suppliers
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned

2.WATER TECHNICIAN/PLUMBER
Report to projects officer the water technician will be responsible for supervision of maintenance and installations of water equipment

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position should have form IV/VI national examinations certificates with trade test grade II or its equivalent recognized institutions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical assistance and resolutions when water problems are encouraged in fund buildings
  • Install and maintain water control system
  • Conduct routine  inspections and repair of water apparatus used as required
  • Assure availability of equipment, materials and supplies
  • Estimate time and material cost required for minor projects as may be required and
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor
