EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Tanzania Tourist Beard (TIB) is a public institution established by Tanzania Tourist Beard Act CAP 364 RE 2002. Its main function, among others, is to. promote Tanzania tourist attractions within and outside the century. It works in close collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Tanzania National Parks, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and tourism stakeholders, TIB seeks to' recruit an experienced, competent, self-motivated and dynamic Tanzanian for the position of Director of Marketing.

Appointed By: Board of Directors
Reports to: Managing Director
Supervises: Marketing Manager
Salary Scale: TTBS 9
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Tourism or Business Administration with marketing option from any recognised institution with work experience of not less than 10 years in marketing or tourism related activities and 5 of them in a senior position in a reputable on organization.
Major activities of the job
i, To develop the Board's business, marketing strategy;
ii. To develop marketing programs with quantifiable and objectives to measure results;
iii. To coordinate the participation in various promotional campaigns and trips, trade fairs and educational tours;
iv. To prepare and to monitor the overall marketing and bushes development budget;
v. To analyze market trends, recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies;
vi. To. supervise and assist in development of staff under the marketing department; and
vii. Any other related duties as assigned from time to time by the Managing Director.
