The National Insurance Fund is a statutory Health Insurance Scheme established by the NHIF Act Cap, 395 to undertake the responsibilities of insuring the medical care services to its members the fund is dedicated to providing support to its benefits to access quality social health services through a wide network of credited health facilitates throughout Tanzania the NHIF envision on becoming the leading social health insurance scheme of choice in the sub-Sahara region

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
Must be a Tanzanian citizenFluent in written and speaking Kiswahili and EnglishBelow age of 50Computer literacyA person with high level of integrity proven by good track recordExperience in social security or health financing or health careNot an interested part in any health care institutionsNHIF is an equal opportunity to employerQualified women are encouraged to apply

MAIN DUTIES
Formulate policies regulations for sound administrations of operational functions of the fundEnsure the preparations of financial statement progress report of the fund and present them to board of directorsEnsure that the fund maximize its income and in that process maximize its member benefitMake key decision on the overall management of the fundActs as the chief spokes person and representative of the fundGives periodic feed back to the board of directors regarding the fund performancePerform any other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Master degree in business administrations, management, economics, corporate management, social science, preferably security administrations, insurance or any other equivalent qualificationsExperience in 10 years working 6 of which is in senior management positions
