Post Title : Training Officer (1 Position )
Duty Station : Dar Es Salaam
Report to : Training Centre Coordinator

Position Objective:
Carry out the day to day training activities and contribute to the training centre's business value. Implement the safety, health and environmental management policies and procedures locally so that all employees and students adhere.
Ensuring that Swissport Training Centre complies with all current and future regulations and laws as lied down by respective Authorities. .

Responsibility and Accountability:
Responsible for the day to day running of the training sessions at the training center as assigned general up keep of the school, as well as providing full
administrative support to the Training Coordinator. Also accountable for;
Ensuring the department complies with all training policies, laws, and Regulations
Manage Training information by producing monthly statistical reports on training records and events
Putting together new employee starter packs
Monitoring and the tracking students records
Carring out interview and application review for the prospective trainees
Developing reports for Training Centre Coordinator on student’s progress revenue and business progress
File electronic and hardcopy trainees and trainers records

Key Duties:
Conduct assigned Trainings as scheduled
Implement training programs policies, and procedures
Perform facility HSE inspections
Advise customers on the training product
Assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment
Oversee behavior based/observation for the trainees or staff and address it to the training coordinator
Help develop courses, syllabus, curricular and procedures
Conduct formal and informal assessment of the students and produce reports
Undertake preventive actions to avoid failures from occurring and recurring
Advocate/market the training school
Increase profit margin of the centre by performance
Manage the training centre activities where required

Academic Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Industrial recognized certification
lATA in travel and tourism, customer seIVice,
lATA train the trainer certificate
Understands the regulatory authorities compliances- (TCM lATA)
Good MS Office skills particularly in Excel, Words and Power point
