Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist at Refill, located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Pharmacist will oversee medication distribution, ensure proper inventory management, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include providing professional consultations to customers, managing prescriptions, educating patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. The Pharmacist will also play a key role in leveraging Refill’s innovative technological solutions to improve pharmacy operations and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication dispensing, and inventory management
- Excellent patient counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and support teams
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and digital health technologies
- Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving operational efficiency
- Licensed and registered as a Pharmacist in Tanzania
- Previous experience with pharmacy operations or logistics is a plus
