Main Purpose:

  • The Projects &Maintenance Engineer will be tasked with the delivery of Compressed Natural gas (CNG) stations on strict deadlines, within the Puma Energy Energy standards and approved budget.
  • This include send-to-end project management, contractor management, Budget/cost control , Quality, HSSE and stakeholder management.
  • The Projects &Maintenance Engineer will also supervise & manage CNG equipment and site maintenance activities) efficiently (speed) ,effectively (quality control) maintenance service within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Prepare full-scale project, plans, timeiines,and milestones and associated communication documents.
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs), tender documents, contracts board strategy and evaluation of returned bids.
  • The incumbent will be tasked with estimating the resources needed to achieve project goals, prepare and submit Budget proposals for the development of investment proposals.
  • Set and effectively communicate Project expectations and provide progress reports
  • Effectively track project milestones and deliverables,analyze results, troubleshoot problems and develop recovery plan/action
    plan.
  • Manage the Equipment Maintenance contracts and deliver equipment and site maintenance performance on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, and with minimum interruptions to station operations. Sign off work performance to initiate contractor payments.
  • Produce and manage the annual maintenance budget and plans, and build up and manage the scheduling of planned site maintenance works (e.g., painting, minor repairs etc)
  • Management of local contractors works quality control, and performance appraisal against agreed KPI’s.
  • Ensure contracts with maintenance service providers are managed in line with company contract management procedures.
  • Deliver equipment maintenance service that realizes the desired customer satisfaction score
  • Perfom any other duties related to Projects & Maintenance as assigned by Supervisor

Experiences

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other technical degree prefarabily Civil /Mechanical/Electrical/ Petroleum Engineering
  • Minimum of 3years continous experience in the projects & maintenance Management in Upstream, midstream & downstream oil and gas industry. Natural gas plants and stations projects experience
  • Experience in Compressed Natural Gas plants/stations Construction Projects is mostly preferered
  • Knowledge on Retail & B2B sites construction & maintenance
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMS) and Project Management softwares/applications

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good business judgment.
  • Good operating and capital expenses skills

Competencies:

  • Problem-solving, analytical skills, strong engineering knowledge, refinery economics.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of working efficiently under pressure
  • Results, and deadline-driven person with sober habits
  • Valid driver’s license
