Risk & Compliance Director

The Risk & Compliance Director will lead TMEA’s efforts in managing risk optimally by ensuring that effective risk and compliance strategies, policies and frameworks are in place through securing sound legal advice, ensuring effective governance arrangements, enforcing compliance with approved policies and procedures, and promoting ethical behaviour.

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree with at least 12 years of relevant working experience in one or more of the core areas of the job OR possess a Masters degree with at least 10 years’ of relevant working experience. A minimum of five years’ leadership experience in one of the main focus areas of the unit is essential. A professional qualification in law, accountancy, risk, compliance, governance, or audit is mandatory.

Internal Audit Manager
Deadline: Friday, 10 August, 5.00pm Kenyan time
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for supporting and deputising the Director of Audit & Assurance in providing high quality internal audit and fraud management services to TMEA which meet recognised international standards, and which add value to TMEA.


The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree plus a minimum ten years’ relevant working experience OR a postgraduate degree with a minimum of eight years’ relevant working experience. Three or more years of leadership and management experience are essential.S/he will have full membership of and certification by the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) including but not limited to CIA, QIAL, CRMA, CCSA, BEAC etc. OR full membership of and certification by ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, ICAS or ISACA.
