Key Responsibilities :

Prepare a 5 year sales forecast together with the Sales and Marketing Manager,Coordinate the production with the group SOM,Make annual inventory planning and coordinate this with the Plant department, Monitor and analyse the inventory.
Prepare monthly a sales forecast for 3 month per stock-point, Monitor the stock movement and adjust the forecast accordingly, Take immediate action in case upcoming shortage, Give a monthly inventory status total and per Stock point.
Enter forecast in ABS.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES.

Analyzing and monitoring the inventory planning process, from forecast to purchase order for East-West Seed Tanzania Ltd from group.
Accommodate sales team and plant with monthly inventory analysis.
Preparing of 3 months packing sales forecast and submit to plant for packing.
Reallocate the varieties from one stock point to another based on sales movements.
Attending inventory and logistic planning meetings in East-West Seed Tanzania Ltd and group.
Compiling of monthly variety inventory movement reports and submit to sales and marketing manager.
Monitoring of EWTZ gross margin report figures and correcting of selling prices in ABS.
Liaise between East-West Seed Tanzania Ltd and group production managers and sales planners.
Be responsible for accurate sales forecasting (5 years rolling) for East-West Seed Tanzania Ltd (Updating ABS forecast on quarterly basis).
Play key role in S&OP reporting and smooth running.
Controlling inventory movement level
Reporting on weekly and monthly inventory analysis for EWTZ and translate for the sales team.
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Marketing or Procurement and Logistics Management is preferred.
Minimum 3 years in cross functional areas especially in any combinations of sales analyses, marketing, and product merchandising
Exercise great attention to detail
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (excel) and Inter/Intranet use
Strong problem solving and organization skills required
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others in a team environment
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
