Earthworks Supervisor
Our client is a construction company based in Dar es Salaam but operation in different regions of Tanzania. They are looking to hire Earthworks Foreman to be based in Dar es Salaam. Interested qualified candidates are encouranged to apply.
Responsibilities
To oversee and manage staff during night shift
Production orientated and good understanding and experience with bulk earthworks and formation construction (layer works) processing and compaction
Communication skills very important as he/she will have a team, of at leat 20 people working on night shift
Drivers license
Responsible for general safety during night shift (Toolbox Talks etc)
To manage load and haul operations at on night shift
Management of cut, fill and spoil areas - bulk earth works and formation construction experience
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
Diploma in civil engineering with at least 5 years experience.
Knowledge of soil testing procedures will be an advantage.
Fluent in English and Kiswahili language.
