We are looking for a data-driven and consumer-focused marketing professional to join our
Tanzania office. This role will be driving growth, engagement, and go-to-market execution for different acquisition channels. Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts on localization of brand strategy
  • Identify unique digital, traditional, offline, and partnership channels
  • Work closely with the US team to recommend and implement channel strategy
  • Be accountable for ad spend and lead efforts on driving down acquisition costs
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts and service providers
  • Deal with regulatory permits required for activating a channel
  • Ad Hoc projects as they arise, we are a start-up after all!
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in a B2C marketing role; preferably of a digital product/service and/or a technology startup
  • 3+ years experience in offline marketing
  • Experience working with external agencies and other vendors
  • Native TZ Swahili and English fluency
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change and re-prioritize
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with multinational companies
  • Familiar with telco/tech/finance sector in TZ
  • Communication and influence skills
  • Familiarity with consumer finance products & services
