RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Work with AIDSFree staff to gather appropriate voucher documentation and enter transactions in QuickBooks.
- Review all accounting transactions before submission to the Finance Manager.
- Proper review and Cross Checking of vendors’ invoices to ensure there are no double payments.
- Review all travel advance requests and expense reports for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
- Monitor outstanding advances and take action as necessary.
- Provide financial and administrative support for meetings, conferences, workshops hosted by AIDSFree.
- Maintain all financial files including vouchers and procurement documentation. Participate on procurement committees as needed. Assist the Finance Manager on Monthly reconciliation and closing process.
- Provide financial and administrative support for meetings, conferences, workshops hosted by AIDSFree
- Manage Value Added Tax (VAT) exemption applications and VAT reimbursements,;
- Work with contracted agent to clear goods and services procured/donated to JSI AIDSFree.
- Support the Finance Manager on accounting and finance related tasks as needed.
