Jubilee Insurance Company of Tanzania is a top ranking insurance company operating in Tanzania. They wish to recruit the following personnel for their head office at Dar Es Salaam.
GENERAL MANAGER TECHNICAL
- To be responsible for underwriting, claims and reinsurance for the company.
- To have in depth knowledge and practical experience in handling all insurance related technicalities for an insurance company.
- Thorough knowledge and proven skills in the insurance sector.
- Effectively utilize technological tools as offered by the company including Insurance related IT applications and others which may be identified at a later date.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Should possess sufficient capability for business communication, financial analysis & presentation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Should have at least 14 years of experience in an Insurance company with at least 8 years as a head or in a supervisory role. Should have ACII or equivalent qualifications with a graduate degree. A post graduate degree/diploma in insurance or business will be an added advantage.
- Pro-active, self –driven with sound communication, interpersonal and networking skills desired
- Fluency in written and verbal English is required.
CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
- This is a key senior management leadership position responsible for managing the financial function, statutory and regulatory reporting, set the finance agenda for the company in areas of financial reporting, set the finance agenda for the company in areas of financial reporting, internal controls, solvency, tax, IT, regulatory compliance and strategy.
- A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Should possess sufficient capability for business communication, financial analysis & presentation,
- Excellent computer skills with email, internet, word, excel, power point etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree and ACCA or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience is required. Insurance Industry experience preferred, finance and banking industry experience will be given serious consideration.
- Exposure to an Insurance Industry is preferred although not a pre requisite.
- Pro-active, self –driven with sound communication, interpersonal and networking skills desired
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
