LIST OF UNIVERSITIES AND PROGRAMMES PROHIBITED FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS RECRUITMENT 2017/18

1.0 The Tanzania University Commission (TCU) wishes to inform the public that, In September and October 2016, it carried out universal audits Higher education in the country to assess the quality of education offered at the university.
The review report showed several limitations in some colleges. As a result, the Commission has suspended the admission of first year students  for the year 2017/18 in the following colleges/ universities:

7. St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences
8. Archibishop James University College
9. Archibishop Mihayo University College
10.Cardinal Rugambwa Memorial University College
11.Kampala International University Dsm College
12.Marian University College13.St. Johns University of Tanzania Msalato Center
14.St. Johns University of Tanzania, Marks Center
15.St. Joseph University College of Engineering and Technology
16.Teofilo Kisanji University
17.Tofilo Kisanji University Tabora Center
18.Tumaini University, Mbeya Center
19.Christian Medical University College (KCMCo)

2.0  The total of 75 programs from 22 universities have been terminated. To view programs that have been suspended to qualify students for Study year 2017/18 please click here.
3.0 In addition the Commission wishes to insist that this decision will not apply to continuing students
