DRIVER & ASSISTANT TECHNICIAN – IRINGA WATER SUPPLY & SANITATION AUTHORITY

Is a Government which has the duty of the providing potable water and sanitations services at affordable prices to resident of Iringa Municipality for enhancing their health and quality of life, in order to achievement compact objectives IRUWASA now seeks applications from suitably qualified Tanzania who are self motivated are self motivated hard working honest and committed to their work to fill the following positions

DRIVER GRADE II (1 POST)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. drives properly any type of vehicle being signed
ii. ensure that the vehicle assigned to him/her is always clean in good running conditions and is parked at safe authorities places with all those tools entrusted to him her
iii. undertake vehicles as schedule
iv. reports without delay any detected fault or defected on the motor vehicle
v. use the vehicle always having necessary items as required by law including valid insurance cover fire guard existing road license etc
vi. maintains discipline behavior and proper conduct in rendering service to his/her officers and employees in general

QUALIFICATIONS
a) Holder form iv or vi certificates with pass in English and Kiswahili
b) A valid driving license class C issues by the relevant authority
c) The person must have driving training certificates from NIT, VETA CHUO CHA UJENZI
d) The person must have at least 1 year working experience

AGE LIMIT
Between 27 to 45

ASSISTANCE TECHNICIAN GRADE 11 (PUMP OPERATORS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates the water pumps according to agreed schedule
Monitors water levels in the storage water reservoirs
Makes and maintain housekeeping of water pumps , pump um house and their surrounding
Makes and maintain housekeeping and keeps record and report of pumps performance faulty water pumps and breakdown electricity power failures and the amount of pumped at established time intervals from clean waters storage reservoirs

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Holder a form 6 /four certificate with trader test grade II/level II in pump Mechanical or Mechanics from a recognized learning institutions

Age limit
Between 20 to 30 years
