ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking an Operations Specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Tanzania. Two local farmer groups are requesting volunteer assistance to improve their operations. The volunteer will provide training on a number of topics, including record keeping, defining job responsibilities, and financial management among others. The assignment will last for approximately three weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research prior to departure. Travel and living expenses are covered.,

Volunteer Qualifications
  • A University degree in Operations Management, Finance and Accounting, or other relevant area
  • At least ten years experience in operations management, with experience in financial management and accounting
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
