Job Description
An International Engineering firm (Tanzania), with one of its offices in Dar es Salaam, is looking for a dynamic, pro-active individual to take up the challenge of Branch Manager.
The candidate will report to the Divisional Director and will assist with all commercial, financial, technical, operational, safety and quality assurance issues in Tanzania from initiation phase through to completion.
Principle Accountabilities
  • Assist in the management of the overall performance of the Tanzanian market covering the core capabilities of Contract Management, Resource Management, Occupational Health & Safety and Quality,
  • Innovatively seek ways to increase market share in Tanzania,
  • Ensure execution excellence in the market place,
  • Effectively work with the Esorfranki Geotechnical team to achieve overall business results for East Africa,
  • Build and maintain Customer relationships, Tanzania.
Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (experience in the Geotechnical Industry will be an added advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at Management level.
  • Business acumen, good analytical and technical skills.
  • Effective communication.
  • Ability to lead and influence change.
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Proficient in English.
