NORPLAN TANZANIA LIMITED is a local multi-disciplinary Consulting firm established in 2005. It is registered with Engineers Registration Board as a Local Consulting Company under Registration Number LCF
092. NORPLAN is a member of Association of Consulting Engineers Tanzania (ACET) and affiliated with FIDIC.

Geotechnical engineering services and soils & materials testing are among consulting services rendered by NORPLAN TANZANIA LIMITED. The firm is currently in a process of strengthening this section in order to provide state-of-the-art drilling services and material testing; hence the following posts are earmarked to be filled.

Vacant Position: Drillers - Nos.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holder of Certificate/Diploma in Geotechnical/Materials Engineering from a recognized institution,
  • Has attended specific training on drilling for geotechnical or mining engineering from any college or the job training.
  • Working experience of at least five years in the relevant field of geotechnical /mining engineering with expertise in rotary and percussion drilling.
  • Experienced in logging the soil samples and rock cores.
  • Possession of basic computer knowledge.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable on Health, Safety and Environment aspects related to the drilling rigs and other operations during drilling.
  • Knowledge in basic mechanics will be an added advantage.
