PUBLIC HEALTH LABORATORY – IVO DE CARNERI – PEMBA MINISTRY OF HEALTH ZANZIBAR,

The Revolutions of Zanzibar has received Fund from Ivo De Carneri the Ministry of Health Zanzibar through the Public Health Laboratory is planning to embark on communicable disease and support Public health issues in Zanzibar is looking for the committed, skilled creative and skilled applicants

SCOPE FO WORK

Shall be accountable to the Board and is full time job

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, monitor and implement policies, plan regulations and all maters relate to PHL –IDC within the jurisdiction of the PHL-IDC
  • Implement the objectives of the PHL-IDC
  • prepare long term plan and annual plans of the PHL-IDC  and submit to the board of the approval
  • Prepare and submit to the board corporative strategy two months before the commencing of each financial year of the PHL-IDC
  • To enforce staff and financial regulations made by the board
  • Report on the activities of the PHL-IDC at every meeting of the board
  • To do all such other acts as may be assigned  or conducive to the attained of the objectives of the PHL-IDC
  • CEO shall be responsible for the day to day of the PHL-ICD for the management of the funds properly and business of the PHL-ICD Cand for administrations, organizations and control of all staff of the PHL-ICD
  • CEO shall be secretary  of the General Meeting and Extra Ordinary General Meeting record and keep minutes of all business conducted or transacted at Board meetings , General Meeting and Extra Ordinary General Meeting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a master degree in Public health
  • Experience working in research institutions at least 5 years
  • Proficiency in English and Kiswahili
  • Good international contacts to acquire new projects
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Self-motivated, good organizations and management skills
  • Ability to mulct task and work on tight timeliness


TENURE OF OFFICE

3 years can be renewable upon satisfactory performance.  The trial periods is 1 year and the CEO will receive evaluated annually on the basis of the science and economic resulting and growth
