Projects Engineer

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of water and energy solutions in the region. The Group is Kenyan based and operates through a network of Kenyan branches as well as regional subsidiaries in Uganda,

Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Sudan and DRC. The company has over 600 highly trained and professional staff spread across the region and seeks to fill the following the position of Projects Engineer.

The successful candidates will have the following qualifications and abilities:
An Engineering degree - 2nd Class upper degree from a recognized university.
Projects Management Qualifications – degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
Minimum five years' work experience, three of which must be in a Consulting Firm with responsibility for project implementation, supervision or management.
A proven record in contracts management with good negotiation skills.
A driver's license and basic computer skills.
Possession of MS Project skills and Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
Integrity, hard work ethic and good presentation skills.

Reporting to a Department Manager, the Project Engineer will be expected to prepare tender bids, negotiate contracts, prepare project implementation schedules and report, and communicate with all project stakeholders.
